Organ Repair Fund - We Met the Goal!

After 100 years of reliable service, our pipe organ blower motor has broken. After consulting with companies and experts, fixing it will cost more than 17,000

The cost to fix it is higher than expected earlier due to a realization that the old blower was undersized for the instrument when the instrument was enlarged in the 1980s.

The goal is met!

Our parish has met the financial goal to pay for the new organ blower! This was no small task. The pooling of our hard earned contributions is resulting in a new blower, the running of 3-phase electricity, and a little extra to get the instrument tuned. The instrument hasn't been tuned since Covid started and it should be tuned every six months when the seasons change. Thank you to everyone who contributed donations, those who spread the word of our needs, and those who offered prayers for providence.

Heavenly Father, whose giving knows no bounds, we offer you thanksgiving for the way you have taken our donations, our loaves and fish, and multiplied them for the benefit of your people. Please grant special blessings on our donors and our prayer warriors for their support of the Church's work. We offer thanks for each seed of faith which has grown into harvestable actions. May your Holy Spirit stir inspiration from this generosity. May the organ, now enabled to breath again, give joy to those who celebrate and comfort to those who mourn. May it help lift and unify our congregational song, our sung prayers to You. We ask this in your holy name, Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
