Registration days are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00pm
Requirements to Baptize at Cathedral (FOR CHILDREN UNDER 7 YEARS)
1) Membership is not required to baptize at Cathedral.
2) At least one of the parents must be Catholic.
3) Only parents can present documents at the office in order to register.
-Child's birth certificate. The certificate issued by the hospital is not valid for baptism (this is not considered to be a government document).
-If godparents are single please present all 3 certificates: Certificates of Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation.
-If godparents are married: Marriage certificate by the Roman Catholic Church. *NOT the marriage license*
-Godparents may not be living with someone in a civil marriage or common law relationship.
-Godparents must be at least 18 years old.
-Administrative fee is $50.00 ($10 extra for each additional child)
-For children over the age of seven, parents should contact the Religious Education Office for RCIA at 469-329-6223.
